I'm a level one, and just started to do this tonight, but I understand that this is an open forum, and it's for everyone. Do you also think that if you are not real funny that you shouldn't go to Jokes and Riddles, and that if you do go there it is because you want to become a comedian?
I'm not sure about the atheists, but the Ninja are studying both groups.
The Ninja say, "it is important to take an interest in all things."
Atheists exercise as much if not more faith than Christians.... not faith in God, of course, but faith nonetheless.
Why do the Christians-- in fact, anyone-- keep bringing up this point?
If they have an opinion, they have the right to discuss it here. Some atheists have spiritual beliefs, some want to input their own opinions in religious discussions, some want to be assholes and proselytize and try to force others to believe in the nonexistence of a god. It's not your forum, so you don't have the right to say who should and should not post here.
A) It's a free country.

C) We might learn something.
D) We might teach something.

Why is this question asked 20 times a day?
Because they worship something. Here are some definitions of the word:
1. A set of beliefs concerning the cause, nature, and purpose of the universe, esp. when considered as the creation of a superhuman agency or agencies, usually involving devotional and ritual observances, and often containing a moral code governing the conduct of human affairs.
2. A specific fundamental set of beliefs and practices generally agreed upon by a number of persons or sects.
3. Something one believes in and follows devotedly.
They do believe in something. It is the same thing with satanists and people with scientology. They all believe and worship something, it's just they worship or believe in something other than God.
I'm not a vegetarian, myself, but I have certainly have an interest in creative vegetable recipes.
I'm also not a member of an ethnic minority, but I have an interest in issue that affect ethnic minorities.

Well you answered your own question in part. Atheists can and do have interest in religion and spirituality - I like learning about religions, same as I like Greek mythology. Interesting stories.
Other reasons are that religion affects each and every one of us. It affects the laws that are made, the politicians that are elected, the future for our children. Some of us think that the world teeters on a precarious knife edge at the moment and is on that edge because of the irrational thinking that is often associated with religion.

God is the The Supreme Popular. So even the athiests talk about Him. I call Him Krishna and others know Him as Jehovah and others Allah. He's so popular. To the atheiste God is so much everywhere that He is nowhere.
Why does it bother you so? Some of us are genuinely curious, of course others still pick on eight year old kids for believing in Santa.

Just before you post a question, Yahoo Answers pops up a little window that lists similar questions to try and discourage people from asking the same question over and over again.
For some reason that I still cannot ascertain, Christians seem to ignore this completely and continue to post this same question every single day.

An atheists that have spirituality are really called agnostics.
Black and white are both colors... opposites but yet still colors.

Atheists have opinions about religion, too, and many do consider themselves spiritual, though not all like using that term.
Religion concerns us. When nutters try to make everyone live according to their book it affects us deeply.

Oh, they are religious. They have more faith than Christians. Faith in chance. Faith in evolution. Faith in themselves. In fact, they become their own gods, bowing before their supposed intellect. I haven't met a smart on here yet on here, however.

As long as Christianity, as well as several of the other "ultimate truths", have as their end and gleefully sought after goal, the END OF THE WORLD, and as long as they believe that their rights are being violated if they are denied the opportunity to use the coercive power of the state to shove their god down every ones throat, you will have to put up with us being in your face. Why should we abandon a forum where we can let you know that you will not be allowed to carry out the silly "End Times" rubbish that you seem to forget would include the rest of us.
