I am currently a junior in high school. I will go to college and my dream career is to be a guidance counselor of an elementary school. Basically be a child psychologist. When I told a boy in my grade he told me that young children's problems do not affect their lives. I argued with him and said that children's experiences affect the rest of their lives.
I was personally a victim of a very rough childhood and fortunately I am living with a stable family now and my life is on track. I play sports and get am an honors student. However, what happened to me as a child affects my life every day.
Who is right? Who do you agree with?
Don;t listen to the rantings of one kid - do what makes you happy
Of course you're right, whatta' dirty diaper that guy is.
This pompous, bullying and provoking streak will bring him trouble in years to come, don't we know!
Keep up your spirits, the kids'll really need you. Glad you're reaching for an honorable and greatly appreciated work!
You're both right.
You CAN make a difference in a kid's life but not every kid can be helped in ELEMENTARY SCHOOL by YOU.
I actually disagree with you more than I agree because I grew up in a very rough situation and NOTHING that happened at school helped me at all. It can happen but be realistic too.
I agree with you, but also I believe that living in the past will never help you in the future. Forgive and forget.
OMG good for your for straightening out your life. How dare someone say that to you. I think that your past life experiences will help you become and AWESOME psychologist. I have a similiar family situation and have been trying to contemplate the same future. I am so proud of you for having a direction and goal! Do not let anything or anyone come between you and your future! Prove everyone wrong and make something of yourself! YOU GO GIRL!!!
What kind of aggressive tropical freshwater fish go together? I want a ghost fish, African cichlids etc?
