I don't know who to choose to be attuned by?
1. Is a man who i used to do yoga with and who i have spoken to on numerous occasions about Reiki and who coincidentally come into contact with now and again, is this a sign? He seems to know a lot of people and do a lot of attunements and is friendly.
2. Is someone who i met at college and we just got on so well, and she is also someone that i have spoken to about Reiki but i was honest and told her i don't know who i want to be attuned by as they are both Reiki masters, and now she seems to be sarcastic in her comments to me now and again but we still get on in other ways and i know that if i were to be attuned by her she would be there for me afterwards if i needed her.She hasnt done many attunements and is not very well known, but i dont want to betray her.
What should i look for in a master. Thanks
I would question your friend's commitment to her Reiki practice. A practitioner should be saying every day the five precepts of a practitioner:
1. I will not anger
2. I will not worry
3. I will be humble
4. I will be honest in my work
5. I will have compassion for myself and others.
Sounds like your friend is not doing well in some of those precepts.
If you flipped the question and asked it about two doctors... or two mechanics... or whatever, the question would still be the same.
Do you want to go with the more experienced one, or your friend?
Do you want to trust coincidence (and/or your feelings) when looking for a professional?
Will it upset your friend if you go with someone who has more experience? Does your friend's upset take away from that decision (her being unprofessional and a bit petty about it)?
Personally, I would look for professionalism and experience with any professional I'm seeing, but each person has to decide for themselves who they want to see when determining which professional to use. Good luck!
As a Reiki Master/Teacher I would say go with the the first fellow if the young lady is being rude and sarcastic then she's not worth taking the time to be trained by.
What kind of aggressive tropical freshwater fish go together? I want a ghost fish, African cichlids etc?
