Oh, I'm FREAKING OUT!!!
Long story short:
3 weeks ago went to my first Reproductive appointment, was diagnosed with PCOS, started Metformin, and today I ended my last Provera pill to bring on AF. Followed by first round of Clomid. When I saw the doc, he even did a transvaginal ultrasound and found cycts confirming PCOS.
Well...
As I mentioned I finished my last pill today, last night I had trouble sleeping due to the "all too familiar" left boob pain...the same stabbing pain I had when I first became pregnant a year ago...I lost my baby due to the PCOS.
But I'm double the scared because I took Provera already, as I mentioned, last pill of it was today...
I'm going to get a pregnancy test perhaps later on tonight. I'm scared about this, I took a pregnancy test before I started Provera... But this boob pain...I remember it...
Please tell me what you think! Is it possible I could be pregnant, and if so, did I just kill my baby unknowingly with the Provera?! HELP!
Provera is a hormone pill (basically a high dosage birth control pill derived from progesterone) so it can cause pms symptoms including sore breast.
You need to know if your pregnant and speak to your doctor if you are. It can cause a miscarriage and possibly birth defects. Clomid can also cause birth defects so don't take it if you think you're pregnant.
Stay calm...Research about the side effects of Provera so you will know if it is just from the drug...
I have PCOS too and have those worries, too. My ob has given me Clomid and Prednisone for this month. Prednisone, according to my doc, will help the egg implant just in case it is fertilized. I've researched about it, too before taking it...Talk about this to your doc and please e-mail me about the results.
When my ob gives me some meds, i research about them first before i take them. I don't take their words about the med...I research about the side effects and what is it for..Some people are really shock about the prednisone, because it is a drug to prevent inflammations such as occuring from asthma and arthritis...
So you miight as well research first, too , so you know what you're expecting..
Good luck to both of us
What kind of aggressive tropical freshwater fish go together? I want a ghost fish, African cichlids etc?
