Also what about her personality? What does she like? When I was little I used to think I was a fairy and I'd walk around on my toes acting like a fairy. So my parents started to call me Tinkerbell.

Call the child by her name, or whatever endearment pops up.
If your husband calls her "Lady Cathryn" it might evolve into just "Lady."
How about "Cathy," or "Kate," or "Katie?"
